27th Superkombi Congress in Enzklösterle
Stilness and Silence
On Friday afternoon, TBW training director Michael Grether
welcomed about 350 participants at the festival hall of the
contemplative location Enzklösterle in the Black Forest. For three
days, the participants listened to explanations and suggestions
regarding this year's topic "Stillness and Silence". The German
national coaches Martina Weßel-Therhorn and Horst Beer gave
interesting and entertaining lectures about that subject and were
rewarded with excited applause. There was also major interest for
the learning assets of the TBW regional head coaches Dagmar Beck
(Standard), Jörg-Henner Thurau (Standard), Klaus Bucher (Standard)
and Joachim Krause (Standard/Latin). They all provided valuable
advice and ideas for the participants.
In the interdisciplinary units Peter Brandt (rhetoric), DTV
association physician Thomas Wirth (anti-doping) and Dr. Wolfgang
Friedrich (error correction in sports) guided through their topics
in a competent and amusing way.
The tournament directors were updated once again by Peter
Brandt. Thomas Estler informed the participants about the
alterations and the pitfalls of the TSO (Dance and Sports
Regulation). Information regarding the DTV project "electronic
sports administration" was provided by German national sports
director Michael Eichert.
The recreational athletes were also updated at the seminar in
Enzklösterle: With Andreas Krug and Martina Mroczek, they had
experienced discofox instructors. Bernd Junghans talked about
current trends and developments in dance sports, Anita Pocz
contributed ideas in the field of dancing with kids. Holders of a
licence to examine the DTSA (German Dance Sports Certificate) were
provided with the latest information by Maritta Böhme and Bernd
Junghans.
The contributors were assisted by the following couples of
the TBW regions team: Simone Segatori/Anette Sudol, Anatoliy
Novoselov/Tasja Schulz and Michael Rödelbronn/Mariya Proskurnina
for Standard as well as Marius-Andrei Balan/Nina Bezzubova, Pavel
Pasechnik/Marta Arndt and Maxim Stepanov/Emma-Lena Koger for
Latin.
